
Frederick Francis Lavasseur, Sr., 89 of Green Cove Springs, FL died June 6, 2012. Mr. Lavasseur was a native of Philadelphia, PA and had been a resident of Florida for the past 20 years when he moved from Toms River, NJ. He was a superintendent for a construction company, served in WW II stationed at Pearl Harbor and was of the Episcopal faith. Family was always first for Mr. Lavasseur as he dearly loved his wife, children as well as animals.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria and is survived by his two sons, Frederick F. and Robert L. Lavasseur, three daughters, Michele E. Lavasseur, Patricia Maria Ruth, and Adele M. Lavasseur, and seven grandsons.
Funeral Services will be 11:30 am, Monday, June 11, 2012 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with Father Donal Sullivan officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 10:30-11:30 am prior to services.
