Barbara J. Brown, 75 of Middleburg, died March 31, 2011 at her residence.   Mrs. Brown had been a resident of the Jacksonville area since 1979 and retired as a contract truck driver for the US Post Office.  She was described by her family as a loving, hardworking mother who always provided for her family.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Harrison Brown, 2 sons, Steve Brown and Shannon (Kathleen) Brown, 4 grandchildren Amanda Brown, Taylor Browder, Sierra Brown and Emily Brown, 1 great grandchild, Micha Browder.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Franklin and Ethel Sargent, son, Joe Brown, brother, Jim Sargent and her sister, Beverly Brown.

In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated with funeral services being held at a later date.
