Jody M. Danin, 82 of Middleburg, FL died Tuesday evening at her residence.  Mrs. Danin was a native of Elizabethton, TN and retired from the Civil Service after 40 years at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, VA.  She was a member of the Russian Oxthodox Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Victor Danin, and her son Michael Cook.  Survivors include her son Jeff (Holly) Cook and daughter Cathy Ilg, sister Edith Ashmore and grandchildren Christopher, Ashley, and Robin, great grandchildren Kyeli and Nacarol.

 

Funeral Services were held 2:00 Saturday (February 5, 2011) at the Ascension Monastery of Resacca, GA with burial in Monastery of the Glorious Ascension Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to:  Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL  32257 in Mrs. Canin’s name.
