Zander_pic_optJohn Richard Zander, Jr. 47 of Green Cove Springs, FL died Friday, January 28, 2011 at his residence.  Mr. Zander was a native of Portsmouth, VA and a lifelong resident of Green Cove Springs.  He attended and graduated from Clay High School in 1982 where he was active in the band.  He operated a product market in Virginia Village during the late 80’s.

 

Survivors include his son Skylar Zander, father, John Richard (Gloria) Zander, Sr., and his sister, Patty Thacker.

 

Funeral Services were held 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in the chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating and euology by Skylar Zander.  Burial  followed in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.
