Leon B. “Montyâ Montgomery, 85, retired USN aviation radioman, USS Marblehead, of Palatka, FL stepped into eternity on February 3, 2010. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL. He was a native of Richmond, VA and leaves behind his children, Lynda (Alan) Johnson, Green Cove Springs, FL and Thomas Montgomery, of East Palatka, FL, his brother, Carroll (Mary) Montgomery, of Atlanta, GA and nieces, Marsha and Mitzi. He was preceded in death by his parents; Leon B. Montgomery, Sr. and Lillian Montgomery Russell.
