Kevin Kyle Krein, 16, of Middleburg, FL died Monday, May 4, 2009.  Kyle was born in Naples, Italy and had been living in Clay County since he was 4 years old.  As a Clay High School student, he was on the Clay High Baseball Team and was well loved among his peers.  His church membership was at Russell Baptist Church where he attended youth camps.  One of his passions in life was his dog Semi whom he loved dearly. 

Survivors include his mother Denise Krein, 2 sisters-Rachel and Jennifer Hall, brother-Owen Krein, Paternal grandparents-Kenneth and Julie Krein and Paternal grandmother Bertha Krein,  2 uncles Keith and Bruce O’Steen, 4 aunts-Kathryn Floyd, Miriam Blockover, Kay Adams and Kerry Krein.

Memorial services were held 3:00 pm Friday May 8, 2009, in the Russell Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made in Kyle’s name to:  United Way of NE Florida, Community Impact, 1301 Riverplace Blvd. Suite 400, Jacksonville, Fl  32207.
