John James Drury, 50, of Green Cove Springs, FL went to be with the Lord, February 14, 2012. Mr. Drury was a native of and longtime resident of Jacksonville and had lived in Green Cove Springs for the past 8 years. He was a graduate of Wolfson High School, a member of Russell Baptist Church, and owner and operator of J & D Marine Construction for the past 25 years and also a licensed General Contractor.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Lanette Drury, three children Joey (Cristy) Drury, Colleen Drury Solomon and Reuben (Zoie) Drury, three grandchildren, Keller, Halee and Lane “Tootie”, three sisters Sheryl, Dina and Andi, step mom, Joyce Drury and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, February 18, 2012 in the Russell Baptist Church with burial to follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery. Rev. Ron Baker will officiate. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7:00 pm Friday, February 17, 2012 at the church.
