Robert Gilbert “Bobbyâ Baker, 56 of Middleburg died Wednesday, September 28, 2011.  Mr. Baker was a native of Jacksonville and a resident of Middleburg for the past 26 years.  He retired from the trucking business and worked with Pritchard, Modlin and Old Castle Trucking Companies as well as being self-employed.

 

He is survived by his wife of 26 years Jodie Baker, two daughters Kim (Justin) Cooper and Kari Baker, two sisters Karen Dowell and Brenda Dallas, his parents Robert and Lauvern Baker and one granddaughter Callie Cooper.

 

Memorial Services will be held 6:00 pm Monday, October 3, 2011 in the Russell Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Baker officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 5:30 pm until 6:00 pm Monday evening in the church.
