Mona Jean Chasteen, 76 of Green Cove Springs, FL died Sunday, August 7, 2011.  Mrs. Chasteen was a resident of Green Cove Springs for the past 12 years having moved here from Sunrise, FL.  She served as a pollworker for the Clay County Supervisor of Elections precinct 600 (Russell Baptist Church) for the past 2 years.

 

Survivors include her husband James R. Chasteen, three daughters Karan (Bill) Smith, Valarie (Charles) Griep and Angela Nobles, one brother James Bass, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by a son.

 

Memorial Services were held 2:00 pm Friday August 12, 2011 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest.  Rev. Abraham Perry officiated.
