Larry Densmore Rivenbark, 75 of Clay Hill, died Thursday May 12, 2011.  Mr. Rivenbark was a native of Teachey, NC and a resident of the Jacksonville area since 1967.  He retired from the Jacksonville NAS as an instrument mechanic after 32 years and also served his country in the US Air Force for 8 years.  He was a member of the Russell Baptist Church.

 

He was preceded in death by his sister Betty Halso.  Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Adriana Rivenbark, children, Steven Rivenbark, Chris Rivenbark, Jon Rivenbark, Tarina (Larry) Johnson, Terry (Carolyn) Mooney, Tannis Benes, Tessa Mooney and Tara Wickman, one brother Donald (Zayne) Rivenbark, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and the mother of his children Fredda Rivenbark.

 

Funeral Services were 11:00 am Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in the Russell Baptist Church with burial to follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  Visitation with the family was from 10-11:00 am prior to services.  Rev. Ron Baker officiated.
