Clara Brewer, 79 died March 16, 2011 at home with her family by her side following an extended illness. She was born February 28, 1932 in Lawtey, Florida where she lived her entire life. She retired from Sunland Training Center and was an active member of Evergreen Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Gary Brewer of Lawtey, 4 daughters, Marsha Norman of Clay Hill, Teresa Degraff of Melrose, Denise Moore of Lawtey and Kimberly Markham of Kingsley Lake. She had 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Otis Brewer and a daughter Kay Walker.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday (March 19, 2011) in the Evergreen Baptist Church of Lawtey with burial in Kingsley Lake Cemetery with Rev. Ron Kimbrell and Mr. Richard Redding officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7:00pm Friday at the church.
