whitehurst_optMary Elizabeth Whitehurst, 94 of Jacksonville died Sunday October 24, 2010 at her home surrounded by family.  Mrs. Whitehurst was a native of Bryan County, GA and first moved to Jacksonville in 1969. After living in Ocala for 30 years and she returned back to Jacksonville 8 years ago.  She was preceded in death by her husband jc35geph M. Whitehurst in 1969.

 

Survivors include her son John (Nita) Whitehurst, 2 grandchildren Jo and her husband Steven and Darrin, 2 great grandchildren Cassady and Cameron.

 

Private services will be held in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah, Georgia.

 

In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorials be made to Haven Hospice 8301 Cypress Plaza Dr, Jacksonville, FL  32256-4426.
