David Adam White, 35 of Middleburg, FL
David Adam White, Dave, 35, beloved husband and father, United States Army veteran, and detective for The Clay County Sheriff's Office, passed away tragically on Thursday evening, February 16, 2012 while on duty as a narcotics detective.
Born on Veterans' Day of the Bicentennial, Dave was the ultimate All-American hero, having served in the US Army as a combat MP in both Bosnia and Iraq. Born in Jacksonville, FL, he grew up in Middleburg, FL, graduating from Middleburg High School in 1995. He received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from The University of Central Florida in December 2001. He attended the North Florida Criminal Justice Academy, graduating in 2002 and ultimately taking a job with the Clay County Sheriff's Department in December of 2002.
He and his beautiful wife, Jennifer Murphy White, were married February 23, 2002. He considered his greatest accomplishments his beloved daughter, age 4, his precious son, age 5 months, and his special "boys," Beau and Luke. He is also survived by his adoring mother and father, Sandy and David White, his sister, Rachel, her husband, Kevin, his nephew, age 9 months, and his special Aunt Linda and Uncle Langston. He is also survived by his in-laws, Jerry and Anne Murphy, who love him very much, and his two grandmothers, both Anna's. He also has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours will be held at Russell Haven of Rest, Sunday afternoon, from 1 to 4 PM, and services will be held at Middleburg First Baptist Church on Monday, February 20, at 10 AM.
